In 1979, Pierre Collin started the company by installing ventilation systems in residential homes. Over the years, the company grew to include institutional buildings such as hospitals, schools, and federal and provincial government buildings.

PCF Inc. is now a family company which includes Pierre's son Hugo, as well as his grandsons Eric.
